Healthy Oatmeal With Peanut Butter and Banana






Oats are among the healthiest grains on earth. They're a gluten-free whole grain and a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Studies show that oats and oatmeal have many health benefits. These include weight loss, lower blood sugar levels and a reduced risk of heart disease

ingredients:

  4 1/2 cups water                                                      
  2 cups rolled oats                                                  

  Pinch of salt                                                       
  2 bananas,( sliced )
  2 Tbsp peanut butter
  1/4 cup chopped almonds
  2 Tbsp agave syrup

preparation:

Step 1:
In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Turn the heat down to low and add the oatmeal and salt.

Step 2:
Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes, until the oats are tender and have absorbed most of the liquid.

Step 3:
Add the bananas, peanut butter, almonds, and agave syrup and stir to incorporate evenly. If the oatmeal is too thick, add a splash of milk.

Step 4:
