Ingredients:
for 2 1/2 litre wine
11/2 litre of boiled water
500g grated beetroot
2 cardamom
4 cloves
1 inch long cinnamon stick
1 inch long ginger (crushed)
3/4 tablespoon lime juice
water 500 ml
500g sugar
1/4 cup wheat (optional)
1/4 teaspoon instant yeast
Preparation:
Step 1:
take 500g grated beetroot
Step 2:
shift this beetroot to a pressure cooker and add 2 cardamom , 4 cloves , 1 inch long cinnamon stick , 1 inch long ginger (crushed) , 3/4 tablespoon lime juice to it
Step 3:
and add 500ml water to it
Step 4:
Preasure cook it till two whistles turn off the stove after two whistles and leave it for 10 -15 minutes
Step 5:
stain out the water alone.while staining you may gently press using dry spoon
Step 6:
500g sugar
Step 7:
mix and combine it well , then close and keep it a side till it cool down , after cooling down shift it a glass jar for making wine ( an opaque jar recommended) . you can use ceramic pots , stainless steel containers but do not use reactive metal like iron and aluminium.
Step 8:
add 11/2 litre of boiled water to it
Step 9:
add 1/4 cup wheat to it
Step 10:
add 1/4 teaspoon instant yeast to it
Step 11:
mix and combine everything
Step 12:
close it by a lid or air lock . if you are using lid it should be loose for releasing the carbon dioxide during fermentation. cover it with a cloth and tie it well. keep this jar away from light and heat.for the 14 days open it daily and stir it for 1 minute without fail.
Step 13:
after the fermentation process ( my wine takes about 21 days ) you can drink it .

NOTE:
all the utensils , containers , spoons , laddles , bottles used in wine making should be thoroughly cleaned and dried there should not be any moisture present at all
